Multi-vendor platform: SECURE DATA Project 1
For the launch (“ROLL-OUT”) of BACnet/SC in France, BACnet France launched the “Multivendor Cybersecurity SECURE DATA 1 – BACnet/SC” Project.
The multi-vendor (multi-brand) SECURE DATA 1 project, as its name indicates, is a physical platform with BACnet/SC servers from several manufacturers as well as several clients for:
- Test the interoperability of BACnet serial products/systems with BACnet/SC
- Use the platform (see below) for the BACnet/SC module included in the paid BACnet training provided by BACnet France in 2024 and in the years to come
- Use the project to improve the skills of BACnet France members (system manufacturers and integrators)
- Use the project to write implementation scenarios for the BACnet/SC solution on marketing, technical aspects and contractual processes (creation and use of certificates)
- Produce the necessary documents for the French market for prescription and implementation advice, included for renovation – migration
- Let the French market know about BACnet France’s experience with manufacturers and integrators to meet user needs
